How to Play On Community Servers in CS2



Community Servers have been a crucial part of the CSGO community, as players can enjoy other game modes on these servers when they get tired of the usual matchmaking game modes. The community servers are loaded with many other features that you won’t find in regular matchmaking, along with their leaderboard rankings, custom maps, and unique skins.


However, as of yet, there is no option to join community servers in CS2. But, there are some community servers up and running since the closed beta for the game was released, which you can join using the method we have provided in this guide. Here’s how to play on Community Servers in CS2.


How to Join Community Servers in CS2

You can now join CS2 community servers using the in-game console. But for that, you need an IP address to the server. Currently, two websites are hosting Deathmatch, FFA Deathmatch, Retakes, and Surf servers. These are:


Once you find the server of your choice from these two websites, copy the IP address of the server you want to join and start your game. Open the console by pressing the Tilde (~) button on your keyboard and paste the copied IP address into the console.

Press enter and the game will start loading the server. Once the game is loaded, you will have joined the server with other players. If you get an error saying that the map was not found, follow our How to Play Custom Maps in CS2 guide to learn how to download and install a custom map.
