58-year-old Linda Evangelista is beautiful on the cover: a photo book about her will soon be published

On the occasion of the upcoming publication of the photo book, he asked them both for a special series of photos and the WSJ. magazine, so Steven Meisel, recalling the past, took beautiful pictures of the model. The new collaboration was crowned by an interview that dissects not only how Evangelista and Meisel changed fashion forever.

There are no effect-seeking set elements in the clean milieu, the model’s eyes tell the story. The famous fashion stylist, Karl Templer, did not want to spoil fashion, he selected pieces based on which it is impossible to tell in which era or year the pictures were taken. This makes the photo series feel even more timeless, but it was also important to show the model in a kind of comfortable environment, as if she had just arrived home and is resting after the fatigues of an eventful day. It can also be a symbol of the fact that Linda revealed in the interview to the magazine what she has been through in recent years.

She revealed that she was struggling not only with paradoxical fat hyperplasia, but also with breast cancer in the background. She was diagnosed for the first time in 2018, but after years of being symptom-free, the serious disease unfortunately recurred last year. He justified his silence by saying that while he was recovering, he did not want to be asked about it every day. Now she feels particularly strong, hopeful and happy.

“I’m very happy to be alive.” Anything that comes now is a bonus, he told the paper.
